THE UNIVERSITY OF HONG KONG 

Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I in the Department of Politics and Public Administration (2 posts) (Ref.: 201700234) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Politics, Journalism, sociology or equivalent, with at least 1 years’ work experience. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in computer skills,

i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, etc.; excellent knowledge and relevant work experiences in the new media industry. They should be organized, responsible, detail-minded, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as a team. The appointee will assist with academic research and perform any other duties as assigned. Applicants with less experience or qualifications may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test in English prior to the interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
