Dr. Lin NIE 聶琳

Post-doctoral Fellow: Dr. Lin NIE (聶琳) received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2017. Her research focuses on nonprofit accountability & transparency, third sector-government relationship, giving & volunteering behaviors. At the institutional level, her research concerns how the regime and bureaucratic system shape the environment of the third sector; at the organizational level, she deals with board-management structure of civil society organizations; and at the individual level, she explores the internal drivers for charitable behaviors as donating and volunteering. She has been involved in several research projects as funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, etc.
