Govt & Laws student wins in the Cougar Internship Programme 2007-08

Miss Sharon Tam Suet-yan (Gov't & Laws -3) and her team won the Outstanding Internship Award in the Cougar Internship Programme 2007-2008. The Internship is organized by Dr Michael Chow & Philip Choy Career Readiness, Sun Life Financial.The programme aims at offering outstanding final year students an opportunity to acquire solid work experience for future job search, through working on assigned projects in business context, to develop professional job search and interview skills, and to learn strategic career planning.

In this programme, over 100 students from various universities in Hong Kong have joined as 'Cougars'. All the participants, after 4-day intensive training, have teamed up to indulge in an internship research project, including internship project progress checkpoint and review, final deliverable submission and presentation. The best team was given the Outstanding Internship Project Award.
