Sharon Tam, Joyce Wong (3rd year Government and Laws students) and Mandy Law (3rd year BSocSc student) teamed up and won the Best Presentation Award in Quantum Apprentice, a sales and marketing competition organized by Fundamentum Limited (FDMT) in December 2007. Quantum Apprentice is a 4-week systematic training program in sales and marketing skills, as well as communication and presentation techniques. It integrates coaching, mentoring, real world contesting and awarding into one exciting program. Participants were required to promote and sell their products to the prospective customers by driving attention-holding dialogues and decision-making meetings. Through the intensive training sessions and competition, participants got a taste of real world business. All of them found the competition both challenging and rewarding.
