Miss TSE Yuen Ting Veronica (GL-1) has been awarded the Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships 2006-07 and the K K Ho Prize 2006-07.
The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarship Scheme provides scholarships each year for local and Mainland students to pursue three-year, first-degree courses at eight universities in Hong Kong. Each awardee receives about HK$290,000 to cover tuition, academic expenses and living costs during the three years. Awardees are chosen on the basis of outstanding academic ability, community service and other talents.
The K K Ho Prize is awarded to students who have achieved the best academic merit in each year for degrees or majors offered by the core departments of Faculty of Social Sciences.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Veronica, who has achieved such an extraordinary feat!
