Vincent YEUNG Wing Shing (楊永成), our 3rd year Government & Laws student, is attending the Bonn International Model Union Nations (BIMUN) Conference in Germany on 4th -8th December 2006. The Conference is organised by the University of Bonn, which intends to bring young people from all over the world together to give them a better insight of the idea of international cooperation and mutual understanding.
Going through competitive selection, Vincent becomes one of the 160 participants to contribute to this year theme "Bridging the Development Gap: Economic, Educational and Environmental Prospects". The Conference simulates the functions of some Committees in the real United Nations. Vincent will participate in the International Criminal Court, in which two cases concerning genocides in Africa will be tried.
