The Master of Public Administration (MPA) program offered by the Department of Politics and Public Administration proudly celebrates 45 years of excellence in delivering exceptional professional education in public administration.
Given China's social and economic development, globalization's influence, and ongoing advancements in academic research and educational institutions, senior managers in government agencies, service organizations, and enterprises in the Chinese Mainland are increasingly recognizing the importance of enhancing their critical thinking skills to navigate the swiftly evolving environment effectively.
In response to the demands of this distinguished group who are unable to pursue full-time studies in Hong Kong, a Part-time HKU-PKU Mode of Master of Public Administration (MPA) has been introduced between the Faculty of Social Sciences, the University of Hong Kong and the School of Government, Peking University. This new program enables students to study in Hong Kong and Beijing in an intensive mode for two years.
Collaborations will also encompass sustainable development, research, academic engagement, and student exchanges.
