Injoo Sohn has received a fellowship award from the Brookings Institution in Washington DC for 2014-15 academic year. During his residency at the Brookings, he will work on a new research project about the political economy of youth unemployment in South Korea as well as other work-in-progress papers on Asia-related international affairs. His new project seeks to identify the scope of the conditions under which the young unemployed may (or may not) engage in collective action, and evaluate the extent to which youth unemployment can shape the nature of Korean FTAs and, consequently, the future of the international economic order in the Asia-Pacific.
